UP Picnic Concert is a free pop up picnic concert event organized by Ordinary people who are inspired to celebrate Unity, Peace and Harmony in a fun way !

This picnic aims to create the awareness of the peace that we so easily take for granted in Singapore by bringing together like-minded Ordinary people from all walks of life together in celebration. More often than not people tend to shy away from approaching strangers out of fear and distrust. When there is fear, and lack of trust, there is no true peace. When we show our kindness and graciousness to others, Peace is a natural outcome. This picnic will encourage you to let your guard (and hair) down and get to know the people that share this tiny island with you.

We challenge you to break free from the “don’t -talk-to-strangers” mentality and simply say hi to someone you would never have had otherwise met. After all, strangers are only friends waiting to happen. Be entertained by cool Acappella singers like MICappella, Juz –B, Vocablends and NUS Resonance rendering UP related theme songs. Join us in the mass Sing Along of We are the World choir as we wave our hands in thoughts for the rest of the people in the conflict torn countries.

From 5.30pm onwards, get a free goodie bag and Friendship cookies when you show your UP FB "LIKE"at our booth, while stocks last. So come with your family and friends, a comfy mat, , an open mind and an open heart! Mark your calendars, come down and have a wonderful time with lasting memories of new friendship and appreciation of a Wonderful World to come.

Actions speak louder than words, so let’s live it up!
