This photography exhibition documents life through the eyes of Foreign Domestic Workes (FDWs) in Singapore, as they navigate their way through a multiplicity of identities as migrants. Stories of struggles, empowerment and coming into their own - as experienced by Aidha students and FDWs.
2016 also marks our tenth year of work in inspiring FDWs to rise above limiting circumstances. Free photography and poetry workshops availble for the public.
Programme:
- Poetry Workshop facilitated by Sing Lit Station and Migrant Worker Poetry Competition
- Photography Workshop facilitated by Lensational and Elvin Ling
- Money Managing Game facilitated by Marjanne van der Helm, Aidha's Programmes Manager
