Back for its second edition at East Coast Park Angsana Green on 10 July 2016, Runninghour 2016 invites everyone to experience running with a visual impairment at the event.
With the goal of integrating people with special needs into the community through sports, Runninghour is the first and only mass running event in Singapore where participants run alongside visually, intellectually and physically-challenged runners.
To truly experience the challenges faced by special needs runners, participants are invited to opt for Runninghour’s signature ‘Blind Run’ category. Runners will have to run in pairs, with one running blindfolded and the other assisting as a guide, as they are connected by a tether band.
For those who prefer moving to the beat, or are not able to run the required distances, the event will include its first ever non-stop mass Dance Fitness session.
