Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), “Memoirs of City Port Scenes” is a collection of watercolour and mixed media artworks that depict Singapore’s port and shipyard scenes today. The showcase aims to keep memories of the city port terminals alive, before operations are relocated to Tuas South.
This exhibition will feature works by 30 artists from the Singapore Watercolour Society and 17 budding painters from Pathlight School, who completed 49 art pieces in about two months.
Five paintings of Singapore’s heritage-rich lighthouses by well-established local artist, Ong Kim Seng, will also be featured at “Memoirs of City Port Scenes”, as part of MPA’s efforts to document its facilities.
