We end off the year with one last exhibition at SPRMRKT McCallum Street, featuring local photographer Aik Beng Chia.

Titled Hong Kong, the exhibition also marks the launch of Chia’s first self-published zine of the same name. The zine pays homage to everyday life in Hong Kong, which Chia photographed over two trips, and portrays the vibrant, bustling city from the perspective of a humble, transient visitor. Hong Kong retails at SG$30, with a limited run of 500 copies, and will be stocked exclusively at SPRMRKT at McCallum Street and BooksActually.

Born and raised in Singapore, Aik Beng Chia holds a full time job as a designer at a global advertising agency. He discovered his love for photography in 2008, first starting with casual shots on his phone, and kickstarting his highly popular Instagram page (@aikbengchia).
