To mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa has collaborated with JAL Foundation and Japan Airlines to organise four haiku workshops themed around 'marine animals'.
Organised in conjunction with the 14th World Children's Haiku Contest, the workshops are conducted by award-winning poet, Ms Shelly Bryant and cements RWS' commitment to spearhead marine education programmes that inculcate in students a deeper understanding and appreciation for marine and nature conservation. The workshops will be held at its Maritime Experiential Museum, part of the S.E.A. Aquarium (S.E.A.海洋馆) and 50 winning entries (with the two below) from the 2014 contest will also be on display.
