Be an urban explorer for a day!
oin us for an exciting one-day workshop this school holiday and learn more about designing safer, greener and people-friendly streets and neighbourhoods!
The Urban Explorer: Mobility Series is a workshop run by non-profit design organization, Participate in Design (P!D), designed to introduce children aged 9 to 12 years old to the planning of safer, greener and people-friendly streets. The workshop offers children an easy entry point to learn about designing a neighbourhood, and also advocates from a young age the importance of building a liveable and walkable city. Children will work together as a team to influence and design their neighbourhoods.
What your child can look forward to learning:
- Deepen their understanding of and creativity towards the built environment.
- Learn about road safety and the larger issue of how our neighbourhoods are planned such as the social and environmental sustainability.
- Develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Learn to work together as a team and honed public sharing skillsets.
