Bringing audiences on this journey with Tee Khoon Tang will be solo British pianist Sam Haywood who performs all over the world as duo partner of Joshua Bell; Colin Carr, frequent guest cellist with the Emerson and Guarneri String Quartets; Yuki Kasai, leader of the Kammerakademie Potsdam Berlin and frequent guest violinist with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe; Mariko Hara, rising solo violist in Europe; and Olivia Jeremias, principal cellist of the Philharmonic Orchestra Hamburg.
At the evening concerts (28 & 29 May), audiences will be able to experience some of the most sublime works ever written for the classical chamber music repertoire by Schubert like his String Quintet, his final piano sonata, and the ‘Death and the Maiden’ string quartet. The evening of 29 May will also include a post-concert chat with all the artists and a pre-concert talk where audiences can learn more about Schubert’s life.
