In addition, SCO's very own Yu Jia will play the Singapore premiere of pipa concerto Pleasure of Playing, an emotional and refined piece by Professor Liu Chang Yuan. Zhao Ji Ping, considered the leading composer of Chinese film scores, also lends his work, Impression of the Grand Mansion Gate - Daybreak at Lugou, to the concert with a rejigged version of his famous TV series The Grand Mansion Gate.
