Young Singaporean violinist Loh Jun Hong and pianist Abigail Sin team up for this concert featuring favourite chamber masterpieces by Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann and Tchaikovsky. The concert opens with Beethoven's lyrical Romance No. 2 in F major, followed by Schumann's Humoreske, a piece episodic in nature that was inspired by the novels of German writer Jean Paul. The second half features Tchaikovsky's deeply emotional Sérénade mélancolique as well as Brahms' Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 3.
