The Department of Communications and New Media (CNM) from the National University of Singapore will be launching Random Blends 2015:Inter(_____), an interactive arts and design exhibition which showcases the best digital works by budding student creators. Inter(_____) is pronounced as Interspace, in line with the theme of experiencing meaning creation, which takes an unconventional spin on traditional viewing, focusing on audience interactivity and meaning making instead.

Random Blends 2015: Inter(_____) celebrates SG50 and the university's 110th anniversary. Alongside art pieces contemplating Singapore's past, present and future, the exhibition will also feature prototypes incorporating unique interactive technology such as Google Cardboard, a virtual augmented reality tool. iBeacon estimotes, an exciting location-aware mobile technology, will also be featured extensively in the exhibition.

Guest of Honour, Mr. Gabriel Lim, the Chief Executive Officer of the Media Development Authority, will be gracing the opening event on 4 April 2015 (4th floor of the ArtScience Museum) at 3pm. Alongside Mr. Gabriel Lim will be special guest speaker, Mr. Michael Lee, local-born internationally acclaimed artist-curator and founder of art gallery, Studio Bibliothèque.

Random Blends: Inter(_____) 2015 will be open to the public from April 4 to April 6, 2015. Visitors can visit the exhibits from 10.00 am to 7.00 p.m. ArtScience Museum is located at 10 Bayfront Avenue. Admission is free.
