Hailed as “Polish Virtuoso,” Dr Krystian Tkaczewski is pursuing his splendid piano career in USA, Asia and Europe. He made a triumph debut in Carnegie Hall in April 2007 about which New York concert review critic Anthony Aibel wrote: Tkaczewski was elegant, showed in-depth knowledge, played with passion, and showed power-house technique. He shows a natural affinity for music of his homeland.

Dr Tkaczewski studied with Olga Rusina at the Academy of Music in Wrocław and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in 2004. He received a Graduate Professional Diploma in 2007 and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in 2014 from The Hartt School, University of Hartford in the studio of Professor Oxana Yablonskaya.

He is a founder and artistic director of Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, Connecticut Chopin Foundation, and the Paderewski International Piano Competition which is due to start in November 2015.
