Digital Entrepreneurship represents a joining of traditional entrepreneurship with an emphasis on new technologies, the opportunities created by these technologies, and new business forms.

It is the fastest growing area of entrepreneurship in any kind of business today, whether brick-and-mortar or digital, you are going to at the very least need to use the Internet as a platform for marketing your products or services.

The skills behind digital entrepreneurship can be learned and developed as you grow in your career. Risk-taking and uncertainty does not come easily to most of us but technology has recently dramatically lowered the difficulty of assessing a good business idea and gradually building your customers without taking on huge amounts of risky debt. Many employees are also required to manage innovation and become intrapreneurs who behave like an entrepreneur within a large organisation.

This course is for anyone that is looking at starting a digital business or needs to understand what it takes to launch a successful business in a digital world. The day will explore the key trends, business models and channels of digital marketing as well as mapping out the steps and options involved in building a successful startup.

It is also open to anyone who seeks to understand and implement the key elements in building effective digital marketing campaigns for their organisation or business.

Covering best practice and using case studies throughout (and made relevant to the South East Asia market), the session offers a practical guide to the core techniques in digital marketing and how they can be implemented by small businesses. Online tools and reference materials are highlighted throughout, enabling the delegates to leave with solid hands-on knowledge that they can implement immediately. The core challenges faced by small business will be addressed throughout the course, and the unique opportunities that small, agile organisations can have in this fast moving market will also be highlighted.
