A personal letter expresses heartfelt sentimentality and an honest connection between two; 7 Letters is an expression of seven of Singapore’s most illustrious directors’ poignant connections with the place they call home.

Catch this milestone film project that strings together seven shorts by award-winning filmmakers Boo Junfeng, Eric Khoo, K Rajagopal, Jack Neo, Tan Pin Pin, Royston Tan and Kelvin Tong, as they piece together tales of lost love, identity, inter-generational familial bonds and tensions, unlikely neighbours and even traditional folklore. The emotive anthology captures the lives and stories of everyday Singaporeans, and is an intimate representation of the each directors’ personal and moving connection with the place they call home.

7 Letters has been selected as the first film to open at the iconic Capitol Theatre in July 2015. For more information and ticketing details, visit
