Timbre Music Academy Collective is a dream team band made up of members of different prominent Singapore bands - Melvin Wong (bass) from EIC/Jack & Rai, Rene Hombre (guitars) from Shirlyn & The UnXpected, Lin Hanrong (drums) and Surath Godfrey (vocals and guitars) from Reverie and Mang Irama (vocals and guitars) from Goodfellas. These musicians are all instructors of Timbre Music Academy and together they fused a very unique repertoire of old school and new school pop and rock performing songs from classic bands such as The Eagles, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Journey to current bands such as The Killers, Oasis, 30 seconds from Mars and many more.

Lead singer Surath, is equipped with his superb "in your face" vocals is the master of the evergreen rock era. Backed up with mind blowing guitar skills and mad riffs from maestro Rene, the band balances its sound with Mang’s renditions of radio-friendly hits and deep ballads. The band is supported by the solid rhythm section pairing of Melvin, widely regarded as one of Singapore's best bass players and the groovy drumming from Hanrong. The band loves to change things around...but yet retains the original flavour of some legendary tunes.

Goodfellas are one of Timbre's most entertaining bands, making big waves at their performances, showcasing their versatility playing R&B, Motown, classic songs to current pop and rock songs by other such as The Killers, Muse, Oasis and much more. The band is also writing their own materials and looking forward to releasing their debut album soon.

Goodfellas are always appreciative of their fans and because of that, make huge efforts to please the audience as well as engaging them in their performances. Blazing guitar solo-walks on the Timbre grounds or getting audience members to dance on stage are common sights. Other past gigs include Chunk Fest, Timbre Musicfest on Campus (NUS Centre For the Arts), Beerfest Asia, Milestones (Singapore River Festival), Blues at The House (Singapore Arts Festival), Mosaic Festival (Esplanade) and many more.
