Named after the visionary who founded Concha y Toro over 130 years ago, Don Melchor is
arranged into a fine-tuned ensemble of grapes from seven dierent lots within the Puente Alto
vineyard in the Maipo Valley, one of the world’s best terroirs for Cabernet Sauvignon. Each lot,
like the instruments in an orchestra, provides a unique element to the wine's final composition.

For the first time in Singapore and Asia, famed winemaker Enrique Tirado will unveil the
secrets of the 7 parcels of Don Melchor through a live pairing of classical music and wine,
where together with talented musicians he will demonstrate the similarity between the
creation of a musical symphony and the blending of a Chilean Grand Cru. Enrique will also
explain how he works with Jacques & Eric Boissenot, wine consultants to four of the five
First Growths: Latour, Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild and Margaux to produce a
wine which is influenced by Bordeaux but a unique expression of Chile’s world class wines.

Critical acclaim and accolades for this iconic wine are plentiful with six vintages of the Don
Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon ranking among Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year.
We would like to invite you to this unique event, discovering the secrets of the blend of an
iconic wine and understanding the characteristic of each individual parcel, walking with
Enrique through the Puente Alto vineyard, and sharing with the winemaker your impressions.

This multi sensorial experience will then be followed by a refined six course dinner paired
with the best single estate wines of Concha y Toro, which have been recognised as some
of the world’s best examples of these varieties with outstanding scores from Wine Spectator,
Robert Parker and Wine Enthusiast.

This will be the first occasion for a tasting of the Don Melchor 2010 vintage, which Wine
Spectator named as Chile’s Top Wine in its May 2014 report, noting : “Chile’s best red wines,
whether based on Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah, or Carmenere grape, are now worthy
competitors on the world stage. It’s a staggering accomplishment. Don Melchor, which has
been made since 1987 ranks as one of Chile’s flagship reds. The 2010 vintage, scores a
classic 95 points on Wine Spectator latest ratings.
