We often complain about how our lives don't go the way we planned and make up excuses why we're not as successful as we could be in our finances, relationships or career.

We have a big problem in our society. This is not a popular message, but one that needs to be heard.

All of us face uncertain futures and challenging situations in our work life, family life and personal physical limitations. Some of us are able to rise above them but most of us are stuck down below - working our whole lives meaninglessly and never realizing our full potential.

But that's not the real problem. That's simply a symptom of the problem.

These are the problems at the ROOT:
- We are quick to assign blame - the goverment, our education system, foreign talent, the widening income gap.
- We throw out all our excuses why something did or did not happen instead of taking 100% responsibility for the circumstances in our lives.
- The result is getting stuck in the status quo as we continue to complain and feel even more miserable.

That was the choice Nick Vuijcic had. He was born without arms and legs and he had the choice to let that condition DEFINE him or DRIVE him; to wallow in misery or to get up and be much more than society dictated for him.

We all have it in us to go beyond the pain and limitations of our lives, our finances, our physical condition and create the new and good lives we are worthy of.

But first, we must take charge of ourselves and decide we are capable of doing, being, and acting differently.
