Ali Zafar has emerged as a virtuosic singer, actor, song-writer and composer of the sub-continent. He started his career as a musician in year 2003 when he released his first debut album "Huqa Pani". The album was an instant chartbuster across the country and launched successfully worldwide in 2005.

The most famous song of Ali Zafar’s first album "Huqa Pani" is "Channo" which made record sales of five million copies.

In the year 2006 Ali Zafar launched his second debut album "Masty". The album, like his first release, was thoroughly appreciated by the audience. The song "Dekha" from this album was part of the sound track of Hollywood motion picture "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps". One of the few Bollywood singers to have his song featured in Hollywood.

In the year 2010, Ali started his career as a Bollywood actor in India, featuring in his first motion picture "Tere Bin Ladin". The movie was a hit in the Indian box office in terms of being a low budget movie and secured Ali Zafar nominations for the best male debut in IIFA Awards, Zee Cine Awards and Film Fare Awards of 2011.

Ali's third album released in 2011 endures his mature taste in music and includes his folk and Sufi renditions from Coke Studio and Ghazals of the famous sub continental Sufi poet Mirza Ghalib.

He worked on his second motion picture "Mere Brother ki Dulhan". The movie, like his first movie was a massive hit across India and his performance was highly praised.

"London, Paris, New York", was his third Bollywood movie in which he became the first of the sorts to have rendered his services as an actor, singer, composer, lyricist, writer, arranger, programmer and recordist.

His most recent movie "Total Siyapa" (English translation: Total Chaos) was formerly to be named "Aman ki Asha" as a bridge to extending a friendly hand towards India and Pakistan friendship. The sound tracks of this movie, like the previous have been sung by Ali Zafar and have received recognition all around the country and world.

Ali Zafar has been acclaimed with numerous awards and nominations. Some of these include the Lux Style Award Pakistan 2004 for the best music album "Huqa Pani". The Indus Music Awards 2004 and 2005 for Best Album and Best Debut Artist and Best Pop Artist.

Lux Style Award 2007 in the category of "Youth Icon".

He has also voted as the "Sexiest Asian Man on Planet 2013" by the British magazine Eastern Eye based on a worldwide pole and the fourth Sexiest Asian Man of the Year in 2008 by the same magazine.

He has won MTV Style awards 2008 and 2009 for the Most Stylish Artist and Best Male Singer respectively.

Ali has also been rewarded the "Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award" in a ceremony held in India, for 'Best New Talent-Male' and also got 'Superstar of tomorrow' in "Stardust Awards" for his performance in "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".

Not just an actor and singer, he is a charmer when it comes to his stage performances. After putting the stages on fire in India, Pakistan, and all over the world, Ali Zafar is coming to Singapore for the first time.
