Have you ever dreamt that your child could become a doctor? Or have you ever stumbled trying to explain what an optometrist, radiologist or even a pharmacist does? Leave it to the professionals at ‘Hospital Land’ – an educational carnival at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital where we give the inquisitive young ones aged 4 to 10 years old a glimpse into the different medical specialisations.
Facilitators will lead experience based activities that teaches children about the human anatomy and what an optometrist, pharmacist and radiologist does.
Also check out the new, free edutainment application; 'Doctor for A Day App – The Educational Hospital Game for Kids'. This app allows children to role-play in different medical scenarios and earn points.
Pre-registration starts from the week of 15th September, and is compulsory to secure a spot for your child to embark on their journey at Hospital Land. Head over to Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital’s Facebook page (here) for updates and/or registration details.
Cost: $15 for each child. Registration begins 15 minutes before the selected time-slot.

By MRT
If you are coming by MRT, alight at Novena station. The hospital is a 10-minute walk away.
By Car
You can reach the hospital via these major expressways:
- Central Expressway (CTE) southbound
- Pan Island Expressway (PIE) eastbound
By Bus
If you are coming by bus, you need to take one of the following routes that pass in front of Velocity Shopping Centre: 21, 56, 57, 131, 166, 851, 980
