Join us for a brief tour of getting your company prepared for investments. Everything a Singapore startup owner should know about how to get the company’s accounting and secretarial records in order before an investor comes in.
The session highlights problems startup owners face and the solutions that work.

Who should attend:
This is the definitive event for those who are serious about preparing for investments into their Singapore company (or just need a peace of mind).
We have rescued nearly 100 startups in Singapore to get their accounting and secretarial records in order.

What the session will cover:
The session will cover the problems startup owners encounter when preparing for an investment. In particular, we canvas two areas – company secretarial (compliance) and accounting. These include:
- What secretarial documents every startup has to have;
- What bookkeeping reports have to be prepared for an investor;
- What if it’s all a mess? How to plan about a rescue.

How the session is organised:
The presentation will take approximately one hour, followed by 30 minutes questions and discussion. Further questions can be answered after.

About the speakers:
- George Mathew is the Managing Partner at Futurebooks. A Chartered Accountant by training, George understands the business landscape and keeps in regular contact with directors, shareholders and employees of startups. He will explain what accounting reports are important for investors and why.
- Kirti Ayush is a Chartered Secretary with close to eight years of professional experience. She received her membership from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) UK and obtained the membership from of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Kirti deals with corporate compliance matters for small to medium sized private and exempt private companies in Singapore. She will speak about company secretarial documents that every startup has to have and investors pay attention to.
