UP Singapore is organizing the GeoHackathon on 6-8 June in partnership with Singapore Land Authority and OneMap. The hackathon focuses on building innovative applications using mapping and geospatial technology. We want developers, data enthusiasts, urban designers, businesspeople and anyone interested in building applications that harness the power of mapping.

Get technical support from experts, exposure to industry professionals and an opportunity to tap into Singapore Land Authority’s GeoInnovation Fund of up to $50,000. Take on the challenge and make Singapore a smarter city.

Participants get an opportunity to pitch their ideas during the pitching session on Friday night (6 Jun). Those who are interested can join teams. The rest of the weekend is spent building these ideas into working prototypes with guidance from mentors. At the end of Sunday (8 Jun) teams present their ideas to a panel of judges, comprising of industry leaders in this field. Winning teams are awarded prizes.

As a primer to the hackathon we're holding the OneMap API Workshop (31 May) and Pre-Hackathon Workshop (3 Jun). Attendance is not compulsory but encouraged.

Fee: FREE ($15 refundable deposit)
