Dinner & Dialogue with Bill Isaacs, Founder & President of Dialogos and Senior Lecturer at MIT’s Sloan School of Management

Every leader faces the challenge of transforming everyday conversations from customers and internal stakeholders into active solutions as a team or organisation. In this one-night only Dinner & Dialogue, Bill Isaacs will show how, as leaders, genuine dialogue can lead to unprecedented insights in solving organisational issues through the art of thinking together.

This includes the four dialogic practices of:
Listening - Principle of Participation
Respecting - Principle of Coherence
Suspending - Principle of Awareness
Voicing - Principle of Unfoldment

In embracing this culture of genuine dialogue, leaders will learn to empower their teams to practise the art of thinking together on a daily basis, leading to increased innovation, engagement, staff retention and productivity.

Dialogue is often assumed to be conversations between parties but that is not so. Bill Isaacs will dialogue on what it means to create an environment and atmosphere where you can actually hear the source of the thinking behind the words, including your own. It is not so much about agreeing but more about fostering shared listening to think together in such a way as to hear unprecedented possibilities—the insights we create beyond what anyone individually can produce.
