Join us for a two hour introduction to bookkeeping sponsored by Plug-in@Blk71. The session will cover everything you need to do-it-yourself bookkeeping in the first year of operation.

An overview for first-time directors of companies who plan to start a company in Singapore in the next 6 months.

The session will introduce basic bookkeeping principles. These include:
- roles and responsibilities;
- awakening your inner CFO;
- understanding the transaction DNA;
- tracking expenses and revenues;
- when outsourcing bookkeeping makes sense.

The presentation will take approximately one hour, followed by an hour of questions and discussion.

About the speaker: Namita Sethi is a Certified Practicing Accountant from CPA Australia with close to eight years of professional experience. As the Finance Manager and Systems Analyst of Futurebooks, she rules forensic accounting. Namita brings her auditor’s hat to her role at Futurebooks; conducting financial analysis and investigating cloud software before implementing them internally and for clients.
