Robot Zoo is an exhibition which allows visitors to explore the complex mechanics of animal robots to discover how real animals work. Machinery in the robot animals simulates the body parts of their real-life counterparts.

Alongside the Robot Zoo exhibition, the second component, is a Tinkering Space. Embracing the DIY spirit in electronics, papercraft, robotics and other crafts inside this section and explore STEM in a very personal way.

The third component is a small exhibition on seed. The collection is displayed to highlight the science of seed carving which has been practiced in China for centuries and is still being praised for turning useless fruit stones into valuable works of art. Infographics on cultural considerations on why these seeds were used to convey certain messages are displayed.

The entire exhibition space with the three components is designed as a workshop area where most of the exhibits are showcased as raw and “work-in-progress”.
