4PLAY Summer Knights 3

The game continues in the month of August with a guest from the land of the rising sun.

4play introduces (Tokyo) up and coming powerhouse Osaka born Tokyo based Sayaka Kitada.
She joins the 4play boys, Shawn Livewire (US) & Jason Kai (Shanghai, SG) for a night of sensual electronic dance floor fillers, ranging from deep driving house rhythms to banging grooves of Electronic Devilish Mayhem.

SUMMER Knights is a quintessential return to dance floor sub-consciousness with a new monthly residency to boot.

The Players

SAYA KITADA (Tokyo, Japan)

Saya constantly keeps her sound current, and takes great pride in playing the sounds she has found. She lets her eclectic tastes take her beyond genres in the events she has played for big fashion brands. She aims to play for major dance events in Berlin and in New York. Kitada keeps her eyes on eventually producing her own original music in the next five years. Staying different, staying Unique and most of all, being herself and in this way establishing her trademark sound on the world stage

Shawn Livewire (US.SG)

Shawn honed his eclectic ears in the Florida Breaks scenes of Orlando, Florida. As a fresh clubber, he was raging to the pioneering artists, such as DJ Icey and Mike & Charlie, years before the dance music hit the mainstream. Shawn got his start playing at the legendary Club at Firestone, cutting his teeth on the burgeoning sounds of drum n bass, breaks and hip hop.

Over the past 13 years he has played alongside many headliners, such as: Armand van Helden, Diplo, Rabbit in the Moon, Fabio, the Scratch Perverts, Seb Fontaine, Tommy Lee, Junkie XL, Judge Jules, Danny Tenaglia, Alex Kenji, Aphrodite, Mickey Finn, Goldie, Andy C, AK1200, Hybrid, Dieselboy, Craze, Adam Freeland, Teebee, Photek, Dillinja & Lemon D, Keoki, Sandra Collins, DJ Dan, DJ Icey, Rennie Pilgrim, Baby Anne, and many more.

Jason Kai (Shanghai,SG)

Having written over 200 songs, including published works for movies of the French film festival, Ca' Fos-cari Film Festival and local advertisement jingles, Jason is no stranger to the life and emotions music en-trances. Groomed by the DJ veterans of Pop Studio and 6 years of production experience comes a Shanghai export who is eager to bring you an amazing night with house music ranging from the fames of Ultra Music Festival to the sophistication of an up-town bar.
