Aerospace Technology: There will be a demonstration of 2 experiments on aerodynamics (flow visualisation and wind tunnel), viewing of samples of student and industry projects and, if time permits, an opportunity to fly the F16 fighter in our in-house designed and built flight motion simulator.
Bioengineering Technology: There is a showcase on how engineers work to improve the quality and living standards for the elderly and the less-abled, and help in the recovering of patients. Projects like Floor Projection and Bilateral Manipulator will be introduced to demonstrate the application of light illumination and biomechanics in the field of physics. If time permits, Design Thinking approach may also be introduced to the visitors. Visitors will also be able to view and learn how our rapid prototyping machines are used in creating 3D objects, like human skull, to aid doctors in surgical operations.
Robotics and Intelligence Systems Technology: Visitors will be able to view some student and industry projects. They will also get to design and programme simple logic controllers.
Venue:
Aerospace Technology: W1314/W1315 – Workshop 13
Bioengineering Technology: Block T17, Level 3, Room 1731
Robotics and Intelligence Systems Technology: W1421 – Workshop 14
