Dennis Edwards
Edwards' career began in 1968 when he was selected as the replacement for lead singer David Ruffin. With Edwards at the helm, The Temptations enjoyed some of their most remarkable achievements. In 1989 Edwards was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and also inducted in 1999 into the Alabama Hall of Fame. Sales of over 100 million recordings moved audiences across the generations, from preteen to the grown and sexy.
