The Quarrelsome Couple introduces the pairing of Patrick Tse and Woo Fung as two opposing friends making their way in the world. Woo Fung plays a rich man leaves his sheltered white-collar job to work as a wage slave in order to learn about life. During his sociological experiment, his path crosses with a worldly penniless writer (Patrick Tse) with no lofty aspiration and lives for the moment instead.
