The Open Stage, a registered not-for-profit society with the primary objective of staging high quality theater in Singapore as well as to encourage & showcase local talent brings you their 6th production - a play by Tony Award winning playwright Neil Simon.

The play revolves around an elegant farce. Several affluent couples gather in the posh suburban residence of a couple for a dinner party celebrating their hosts' tenth anniversary. However, they discover there are no servants, the hostess is missing, and the host has shot himself through the earlobe. Comic complications arise when, given everyone's upper class status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media.
In Neil Simon's own words:

The play is all about how rumors can often come close to destroying friendships, even marital relationships. We've all been victims of rumors, and they're very hurting.''
