From its humble beginnings in 2003, Symphonia has grown leaps and bounds over the last decade into a full-fledged wind symphony. In 2013, SMU Symphonia celebrates its 10th birthday with its anniversary concert, Homecoming!

In its 10th year, Symphonia honours the contributions of its predecessors through a sentimental recollection with the help of its alumni. As memories of the last decade are being unravelled, Symphonia looks forward to the future while embracing its timeless founding values of music, friends and fun.

Led by Resident Conductor Adrian Chiang, Symphonia will perform works including Giacomo Puccini's Turandot, James Barnes' Third Symphony (Movement III, For Natalie) and Eric Whitacre's Godzilla Eats Las Vegas! Symphonia will also premiere two commissioned pieces by local composers Zaidi Sabtu-Ramli and Terrence Wong Fei Yang in a celebratory evening.
