In support of International Women’s Day in March, MHC will organise free outdoor screenings of Sang Penari (Friday, 15 March) and Adik Manja (Saturday, 16 March) on our lawn at 8.30pm. Enjoy nostalgic film watching with loved ones and don't forget to bring a mat and picnic basket.

Sang Penari (2011)
Set against the backdrop of Indonesia’s political turmoil during the 1960s, Sang Penari tells the tale of Sintril and her struggles to become the Ronggeng, a village dancer believed to be bestowed with spiritual powers that can bring prosperity and order to her village. Sang Penari was nominated for nine awards and won four Citra Awards in Festival Film Indonesia, Indonesian Academy Awards, 2011 – for Best Film, Best Director, Best Leading Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
