Piracy continues to expand at a phenomenal rate, increasing the demand for well-trained maritime security personnel around the world.

As the need for Maritime security personnel increases it is important to maintain the standard that is required to operate in such complex environments. It is this requirement that has laid the foundation and formed what is now the TSI-AP Introduction to Maritime Security Operations.

This introductory training has been produced for delivery in an accelerated learning environment. The course will provide the candidate with the core skills that adequately prepare him for Maritime Security Operations.

Upon completion of this introductory seminar the candidate may also attend the weapon training component in the Philippines.

 Definition of Piracy
 Piracy expansion
 Maritime and global threats
 IMO initiatives to combat piracy
 Ship Protection Measures/Physical and Visual Deterrent
 Citadel Selection and preparation
 The Lockdown procedure
 Piracy Attack Profiles and TTP’s
 Combat Indicators
 Actions on Positive Identification of Threat
 International Efforts and initiatives to Combat Piracy

At the completion of this course students will:
 Understand the fundamental procedures of Maritime Security Operations
 Understand the requirements of the individual on commercial operations
 Able to detect and deter hostile threats
 Positively work to secure Vital Assets and Personnel

Seminar outcome: All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance duly endorsed by Titanium Security International. This is an eight hour presentation.

This Seminar contains many crossover skills that can be used in any working environment whether it be military, civilian shipping or government emergency services.
