In this workshop, participants will learn how to use the free and open source Processing programing language to create works of visual and interactive art.

We will start by introducing the field in general and its relevant artists, works, and open questions, and from there we will go hands-on and explore techniques for programming generative art.

Finally, we will learn how to apply our custom graphics across a variety of contexts and disciplines, from VJing to performance art to interactive installation.

Depending on students' interests, we will discuss specific topics, such as computer vision, Kinect, Leap Motion, data visualization, projection mapping, and 3d printing.

This workshop is happening on the 20th and the 21st October, 7pm - 9pm, and is suitable for people with some programming background.
