Founded by Alina Ramirez and her husband Mario Lopez, Ireson performs an amalgamation of Afro Latin rhythms, bomba, samba, bossa nova, Mexican and Cuban folkloric music. These performances will showcase a more acoustic (and gentler) musical side of the group comprising talents Pablo Calzado (drums), and Carlos Sendros (guitar and voice) as well as special guests saxophonists from Mexico and Australia Diego Maroto and Nicole Duffell.
