Can short films with a historical spin ever be fun and interesting? You bet! Get ready to release your creative juices in the 'Hi-Story, My Story' Filmmaking Competition and win fabulous prizes!

As part of Historia SG 2013, this year's theme anchors on Invisible Spaces - Here Yesterday, Gone Today, Remembered Tomorrow. Students will experience Singapore history in a brand new way by exploring how memories are built around spaces and sites that have undergone transformation, and uncovering the personal stories that contribute to a sense of belonging to a country with an ever-changing landscape. Through the use of film as a storytelling tool, collect, create and share your stories to form a larger narrative of Singapore's history.

The competition is open to all local and international students 13 years old and above with a valid student pass from any educational institution based in Singapore. Students will need to form teams of three to five members, who do not need to be from the same institution.

Registration closes on 18 May 2013.

More information about this competition can be found in the Hi-Story, My Story Information Booklet, which can be downloaded from www.nationalmuseum.sg.
