Gareth Fernandez’s career started young as a soprano singer at the tender age of 10. As his voice matured into a rich baritone, he performed at various events in schools, birthday parties, officer commissioning balls and weddings.

He loves nothing more than pop/soul music and is heavily influenced by artistes such as Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, John Legend, Stevie Wonder and George Benson.

Ever ready to bring his soulful vocals and channel his love for music into every note he belts out, his unique vocals can cover tunes that few others can. It’s Bruno Mars meets Sara Bareilles where contemporary tunes with sensibilities of the good ol’ days are displayed.

It’s music that gets you up and grooving, and at the same time, music that speaks to your hear. This fiery passion of his must be seen and heard live!

The band:
Gareth Fernandez - Vocals
Sikai Goh - Keyboards/Organ
Titus Ng - Bass
Anson Koh - Drums
Spruce Teo - Saxophone

Singapore Originals is a series put up by Timbre Music to recognize independent original music works by Singaporeans, for Singaporeans. Singapore Originals happens every last Wednesday of the month at Timbre @ The Substation (unless otherwise stated).
