Trace the seafaring history of the Fujian people as they traveled from China and settled down in Southeast Asia in the 1800s. Discover how the ingenuity of the Fujians made an impact on religion, commerce and culture for the Chinese in Southeast Asia.

View rare artifacts on display, including a thousand-year-old Yuan Dynasty stone carving of Chinese fairies holding a Christian Cross, a large half-metre-wide Ming Dynasty porcelain plate with phoenix and peony flower patterns, and a 1828 land title deed for a piece of land bought by Hokkien philanthropist Tan Tock Seng from the British East India Company to build the Thian Hock Keng Temple.

Fujians: The Blue Ocean Legacy is part of the World Fujian Convention organized by the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan.
