Live! Empire is proud and eager to welcome Fall Out Boy back to Singapore on August 6, 2013.

Fall Out Boy originated from Chicago and emerged in the 2000s as one of the biggest band in pop-punk. Fall Out Boy’s line-up consists of Patrick Stump (rhythm guitar and vocals), Pete Wentz (bass), Andy Hurley (drums) and Joe Trohman (lead guitar). Their snarky lyrics and oh-so-wordy song titles made them unique and memorable and elevated them to superstardom.

Fall Out Boy debuted their first album in 2003, Take This To Your Grave and caught the attention of Island Records. The group then released the double-platinum album From Under the Cork Tree in 2005, which included top ten singles, “Sugar, We’re Going Down” and “Dance, Dance.”

In 2007, Fall Out Boy released their third album Infinity on High. The album garnered major chart success. It contained hits like “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race”, “Thanks For the Memories” and “Golden.”

After their 2008 album Folie à Deux, Fall Out Boy took a three-year hiatus. During that time, each member of the pop-punk band continued with their individual music projects – Stump has a solo album Soul Punk, Wentz formed a ska/electropop band Black Cards and Trohman and Hurley formed the Damned Things, a heavy metal supergroup.

On February 4, 2013, Fall Out Boy announced their comeback with a new album, Save Rock and Roll, a tour and a new single. With almost instant success with songs like “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” and “The Phoenix”, this could very well be Fall Out Boy’s definitive album yet.
