Ever wonder why birds can fly?
Flight is a phenomenon that has long been a part of the natural world. Birds fly not only by flapping their wings, but by gliding with their wings outstretched for long distances. Likewise, man-made aircraft rely on these principles to overcome the force of gravity and achieve flight.
This half a day workshop aims to provide GCE ‘O’ level students with the fundamental knowledge of basic flight theory, aerodynamics and flight instruments. It is conducted using interactive hands-on activities to illustrate the approach that enhances the understanding of the subject matter and to arouse the students’ interest and passion in aerospace science.
