World famous pianist, Adam Gyorgy, makes an unmissable return to The Esplanade Concert Hall!
Now resident in New York, the prestigous Steinway Artist made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2008, and has since toured internationally, performing in Paris, New York, London, Jakarta and Budapest.
Following a sold out recital in 2011, Adam Gyorgy makes an unmissable return to The Esplande this October. The world-class Hungarian pianist will perform Mozart's Sonata in C major (KV 330, I. Allegro Moderato; II. Andante Cantabile; III. Allegretto), The Wedding March (F. Mendelssohn - F. Liszt - V. Horowitz - Adam Gyorgy) and his own composition, A Day in New York, which premiered at Carnegie Hall NYC in 2012.
Gyorgy's inimitable style has won him a fanbase worldwide. In 2012, he opened the UEFA European Football Championship in Warsaw with a fun and unique interpretation of Chopin's Winterwind, broadcast live to an audience of 300 million across the globe.
Regarded as one of the finest Liszt players in the world, and the Liszt ambassador in his home country, the virtuoso's recitals have been described by the world's press as sensitive, playful, elegant and warm.
The pianist's own charity, The Adam Gyorgy Foundation, has continued to establish connections between Asia and Europe and support young Singaporeans. Since 2009, many Singaporean top piano tudents have benefited from master classes at his piano school at the Adam Gyorgy Castle Academy in Hungary.
