This November, Players Theatre celebrates our 10th Year Anniversary by revisiting one of our favourite shows. A Year With Frog and Toad is a Tony® Award nominated musical based on Arnold Lobel’s much loved series of books.

We celebrate 10 years of bringing the magic of theatre into the hearts and lives of our young audiences. Past productions include the smash-hit sell-out shows “Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox”, “James and the Giant Peach” and “Charlotte’s Web”.

Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage in this three time Tony® Award nominated musical. A Year With Frog And Toad remains true to the spirit of the original stories as it follows two great friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad, through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves and go sledding, learning life lessons along the way, including a most important one about friendship and rejoicing in the attributes that make each of us different and special.

The clever book and lyrics, snazzy music and a score that bubbles with melody, wit and a jazzy upbeat sound is a perfect match for the hopping, crawling and flying denizens that inhabit Frog and Toad's world.

A Year With Frog And Toad is inventive, exuberant, totally enchanting and perfect for all in the family. This show is a must-see so be sure to book early.
