Set in the beautiful vineyards of France, this adaptation of Peter Mayle’s novel is a celebration of French food and wine. Max Skinner discovers that his favourite uncle has died, leaving him his mansion and Provence vineyard. Max heads to France to sell them off, but fond childhood memories and wranglings with the locals conspire to send his plan awry, including his encounter with a beautiful, feisty café owner Fanny. This light film with an attractive cast and breathtaking scenery will whet your appetite for consuming “the nectar that is incapable of lying,” as the film’s philosopher of epicurean delights calls the product of his estate. Directed by Ridley Scott; Starring: Albert Finney, Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard.
Enjoy complimentary screening by making a $15++ food/beverage purchase at the Theatre bar OR the Film & Food menu at the restaurant.
