Proudly presented by Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, the inaugural Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition is back with its eighth installment. This beautifully curated exhibition welcomes your participation to explore a vast spectrum of photography types, such as portraiture, object, nature, fine art etc.

Exhibiting more than 190 works from 92 photographers, it features some of the best award-winning photographers from this little red dot. Their masterpieces promise to engage and inspire any photography enthusiast. Participating artists include 1989 Cultural Medallion recipient Mr Foo Tee Jun, whose photographic works were selected for printing in our postage stamps and Mr Yip Hoi Kee, which a Yip Hoi Kee School Challenge was set up by NYPS in honour of his contribution to the student photographic scene in Singapore.

The highlight of this exhibition is 20 exhilarating works from our Photographer of the Year 2013 — Mr Yeo Yeow Kwang, renowned for his travel and portrait photography. His outstanding works garnered him recognition and numerous awards, both locally and internationally.

A relentless photographer, he moves with time and adopt the rapid technological change, incorporating the new digital post-processing techniques and traditional photographic concepts to create works that reveal the inner beauty and goodness of his photographic subjects.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Mr Yeo will also be conducting a workshop on digital processing on 13th April 2013 at Ngee Ann Cultural Room to share his experience with the audiences. To register for the workshop, kindly email to
