In celebration of Hari Raya Haji this weekend, there will be an Open House for the National Museum of Singapore from 26 to 31 October 2012 (Friday – Wednesday).

Admission to all 12 exhibitions in the Museum will be free, which includes the newly launched 10 Years Of Shooting Home by Objectifs and the ongoing A Life of Practice – Kuo Pao Kun and 45-65: Liberation, Unrest.. a New Nation.

Also, this will be the last weekend of The Wedding Dress: 200 Years of Wedding Fashion from the Victoria & Albert Museum, London exhibition at the National Museum of Singapore, which ends on 31 October 2012. On display are 200 years of wedding dresses, bridegroom attires, and bridal accessories including lingerie, gloves, bags, and shoes are on display. Marvel in the splendour of some of the world’s most lavishly designed gowns by the biggest names in international fashion, such as Norman Hartnell, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood and Vera Wang.
