Classical pianist Raymond Chow is a highly versatile musician, with experience in the performance of early music, contemporary avant-garde music and musical theatre work. Raymond has performed in both the US and Singapore, participated in various music festivals and Masterclasses, including the Boston Early Music Festival, composition workshop by Mario Davidovsky, and piano master-class of Joseph Banowetz.

Raymond Chow holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Music Performance from University of North Texas (USA). He received various scholarships during his studies, and was under the tutelage of pianist Gustavo Romero and harpsichordist Lenora McCroskey. He also studied with pianist Adam Wodnicki.

In 2012, Raymond was invited to adjudicate at the First Ars Nova Piano Competition in Singapore. He also gave a lecture-recital with composer John Sharpley at the Esplanade Library. Raymond currently serves as company pianist for the Singapore Dance Theatre.

Raymond Chow will perform contemporary classical piano works by Philip Glass, John Cage, Bela Bartok, and John Sharpley.
