A laptop, an internet connection and a power socket – are these the sole accoutrements of modern work? Despite nomadism as the new normal, skype meetings, and the remote workplace, it nevertheless appears that we are nowhere near ready to dispense with some rooms of one's own: that mirror unto the soul, the designer's studio. But with new technologies and an ascendant culture of efficiency, how does “place” play a role in the creative process? invites Colin Seah (Ministry of Design), Kelley Cheng (The Press Room) and Archifest's Festival Director Adib Jalal to discuss the importance of being “placed”.

To attend, please RSVP to Lynn at by Monday, 8 October.
