Beerfest Asia Returns To Singapore In June

Beerfest Asia was started seven years ago to raise the profile of the beer industry. The festival has grown bigger each year with ever- increasing level of consumer and trade interest. Throughout the years, Beerfest Asia has also incorporated new components beyond beers with the inclusion of a Comedy Lounge and a Whisky Marquee. The 2014 edition drew record crowds of over 34,000 visitors over the four days. This year's event will be held from 25 to 28 June 2015 at the Marina Promenade (the F1 tracks behind Singapore Flyer) and is presented by United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB).

For 2015, visitors can expect more than 400 types of international beers and live stage performances by international tribute bands. Tribute bands making their debut at Beerfest Asia 2015 include "AbbaFab", Australia’s fabulous ABBA tribute band and the “Soul Sisters", who will be covering the likes of Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, Etta James and Janice Joplin. The Soul Sisters will be paired up with perennial favourite The Australian Blues Brothers for an all-new smashing tribute experience that is bound to get the crowd moving. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to watch world-class stand-up comedy acts, and sample delicious culinary offerings.
