Ms Licia Sucipto, Programming Officer, The Esplanade Co Ltd, said: "More than just organising activities and performances, Yfest is a space and platform that our youths can identify with and find a sense of belonging. As such, it is important to incorporate exciting and new activities in the festival that will resonate with the younger generation. It is also important to build signature programmes in the festival so that our youths can continually be engaged and inspired through the guidance they receive from mentor".
