Ngee Ann Teochew Opera Extravaganza

The Ngee Ann Teochew Cultural Festival has been an annual hallmark event for the Teochew community since 2013. Organised by the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (NACC) and sponsored by The Ngee Ann Kongsi, the Festival aims to promote traditional Teochew culture and heritage through various activities, and has been celebrated in numerous forms and with different themes throughout the years.

This year, NACC has partnered with Nam Hwa Opera to present The Teochew Opera Extravaganza. The aims of the 2022 Festival are to preserve Teochew folk arts and promote traditional Teochew Opera and Teochew music to the public, especially to the younger generation.

Interested attendees may reserve their tickets via online registration through the form above (see website section). Attendees will be issued a physical ticket on the actual performance days. Admission is free.
