M1 Peer Pleasure is a youth theatre festival with a social conscience. This year, we are taking a closer look at how people with disabilities live in Singapore. Where are their voices and stories in our everyday? In a country that prizes efficiency, productivity and material success, can people with disabilities have a place in our economy, schools and community?

Unable to stage live performances as usual at the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we will be presenting the festival online from 4 - 16 August; with majority of the programmes offered for free!

Riley’s Rain
Devised and created by: Gloria Tan and Samantha Bounaparte
Created and performed by: Republic Polytechnic, Diploma in Arts and Theatre Management & Operation Theatre Interest Group
Video editing: Republic Polytechnic, Diploma in Media Production and Design

Riley the Raindrop is lost and needs help! Who can she go to for help and what will she find out along the way? Join Riley and her friends on a sensory windy adventure as she searches for the Great Downpour!

An activity kit incorporating sensory and interactive elements has been specially designed to include audiences on the autism spectrum, as well as those with sensory sensitivities, to enrich the story experience from home.

Instructions on how to assemble your very own activity kit, using commonly found items at home will be shared later at the M1 Peer Pleasure Website.
